Revit software users around the world turn to Ideate Software for add-on solutions that reduce or even eliminate laborious data editing, viewing and management tasks. I was pleased to have the opportunity to discuss and demonstrate one of those solutions, IdeateApps, on a webinar hosted by our partner in Australia and New Zealand, A2K Technologies.

IdeateApps is a collection of nine focus-driven tools that decrease the time spent on common tasks and increase the accuracy of the BIM data within a model. In this webinar, I focused on the four that streamline the following sheet and view activities:

  1. Placing views on sheets 
  2. Aligning views across sheets
  3. Copying sheets
  4. Bulk-creating views

Richard has more than 30 years of experience working for companies that develop architectural and engineering software solutions, such as Intergraph, Bentley, and Autodesk. He has over 20 years of Revit experience, and he was part of the original development of Revit while at Revit Technology Corporation. He worked for 12 years at Autodesk, where he presented, taught, and worked to improve features in Revit.
