Fast-Tracking Data-Driven Design with ZGF Architects

ZGF Architects, a leading North American design firm focused on sustainable architecture, used Ideate Software for Revit to streamline workflows and meet strict UK BIM standards on two major Canadian hospital projects. Managing over 1,300 sheets across 11 Revit models, the team leveraged Ideate BIMLink, SheetManager, and Automation to handle complex COBie data and compress a typical five-year design process to just 34 months.

By using Ideate StyleManager to eliminate model clutter and reduce sync times from 45 minutes to under 10, ZGF achieved significant efficiency gains. The result was faster deliverables, cleaner Revit models, and improved coordination across multidisciplinary teams. Ideate Software tools empowered ZGF to deliver sustainable, data-driven designs while meeting tight schedules and achieving LEED Gold and Zero Carbon Building certification goals.
