To provide outstanding sales, training, and support of our Autodesk Revit productivity applications around the world, Ideate Software partners with leading companies that are just as passionate about helping Revit users as we are. In the United Kingdom, we team with Excitech, the area’s largest Autodesk Platinum Partner. We were pleased that this partnership gave us the opportunity to present our products at the January 2019 University of the West of England (UWE) “Peer to Peer BIM” event.
From my Boston, Massachusetts office, I presented virtually with Excitech’s Nick Johns, who was on site at the event.
Nick Johns, Excitech, on the ground at UWE, with Richard Taylor, Ideate Software, leading the presentation online from Boston, MA
During the presentation, I discussed common Revit data management workflows and challenges that are simplified or solved by using Ideate Software applications.
The audience of UWE academia, BIM managers, and architects, including representatives from a leading UK infrastructure, buildings, developments and housing group, showed real interest in the presentation. People asked questions, shared their experiences, requested follow-up meetings, and committed to placing orders.
Although I’m always up for in-person meetings with Revit enthusiasts around the world, the partnership with Excitech made it easy and economical for me to virtually be in England. It offers me the ability to help those learning about or using BIM and Revit in their efforts to efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure. I send out a big thank you to Nick Johns, Excitech, and UWE.
