Bluebeam Revu 21.0.30 Update Breaks Ideate Sticky for Revit

The problem identified below has been fixed by the April 2023 release of Ideate Sticky for versions 2020+. You can download the latest version of Ideate Sticky here and learn about some of the Ideate Software advantages of upgrading to Autodesk Desktop Connector 16.x here.

Yesterday, it was brought to our attention that the latest update for Bluebeam Revu 21, dated March 28, 2023, causes Ideate Sticky to stop working. Two customers yesterday reported this condition to us and were able restore Ideate Sticky functionality by using either of these methods:


  • Rolling back to the previous version of Bluebeam 21
  • Disabling Revit from Bluebeam Administrator


We are working with Bluebeam to collaborate on a fix. If you want to roll back to the earlier version of Bluebeam Review 21, you can access it via the link below.
