Ideate Sticky users will want to download the latest version right away, because it includes one of the most frequently requested features: the ability to link PDF and Microsoft Word documents to Revit files!
If you follow the Autodesk Ideas Forum, you’ve seen this request for a long time. While Autodesk responded this year with support for PDFs in the current version of Revit, Ideate Software responded by providing support for both PDFs and Word documents in the current version of Ideate Sticky (2021) as well as the three previous versions (2020-2018). Also, unique to Ideate Sticky is the ability to link multi-paged documents at once, instead of one page at a time. Based on numerous conversations with our customers and the Revit community, we know this new feature will dramatically simplify the process of getting information provided by consultants and other sources to everyone working on the project.

We send out a huge thank you to the many customers who helped us beta-test this new feature. We appreciate the time you spent with us to ensure the quality and resolution meet your needs.
In addition to support for PDF and Word documents, we added more new features to our 2018 - 2021 versions of Ideate Sticky. Here are highlights:
- The Status field includes BIM 360 disk and BIM 360 error statuses to reflect the various local state conditions shown through the desktop connector
- The ability to update multiple Stickies at once
- The option to have Stickies appear in black and white
- The ability to link Excel files into Revit as images when greater visual fidelity is needed
- Licensing support for Remote Desktop added for standalone licensing
