Two Ideate Software Presentations
Title: Deciphering the Language of Revit Warnings
Date: July 18, 2019
Presenter: Richard Taylor, Technical Evangelist, Ideate Software
Overview: Failure to manage warnings in a Revit project could result in poor performance, slow synchronization times, incorrect schedule data, or even file corruption. During this session, attendees will learn how to manage and fix Revit warnings using Revit tools and how the Warnings Manager add-on application developed by Ideate Software can streamline the process.
Title: We All Secretly Love Revit Parameters
Date: July 20, 2019
Presenter: Sash Kazeminejad, Customer Success Manager, Ideate Software
Overview: Project, Key, Family, Shared, Global … the list of parameters goes on and on, and the types and uses can seem overwhelming. Attendees of this session will learn about common pitfalls of poorly organized Revit data, how and when to use Shared and Project parameters, how to manage parameters for use across linked Revit files, and common strategies for resolving poorly managed parameters.
Leaders from the architecture, engineering, construction, and building owner industries attend Data Day to talk about data in their industry. Starting the day before BILT NA, Data Day presentations, labs, and discussions focus on the current state of data, what can be done with the data, and how data drives business decisions. “This event has grown in popularity so much that we extended it from one day to two this year,” said David Haynes, Ideate Software director and Data Day chairperson. David has been the Data Day chairperson for the past 3 years.
