Saving Revit Links with Ideate BIMLink for Revit

Revit Links are automatically saved and read from the Revit project.  One method to re-use links would be to save them within a Revit template file.  Additionally, by manually saving and loading link definitions to disk, you can transfer link definitions from one Revit project to another Revit Project. This can all be accomplished with Ideate BIMLink for Revit.

To save a link to disk:

Links are saved in individual files with a .link file extension.

Links based on key Revit schedules are unique to a particular Revit project - you can not save these links to an external link definition file.  Use Revit's 'Insert from File' method to transfer a Key Schedule between projects and then use the method to Create a Link from a Revit Schedule to re-use Key schedule data between projects.
