Women in BIM comes to Paris on September 19, 2024, and GRAITEC’s Claudia Gaona is Leading the Way

Women in BIM (WIB) continues to gather momentum amongst BIM professionals. Following on the heels of July’s London conference, WIB will gather once again, this time hosted at GRAITEC’s Paris headquarters on September 19, 2024.

This event has been brought to life through the efforts of Claudia Gaona, a Software Engineer at GRAITEC, alongside other WIB members. Claudia, a long-standing member of WIB, represents France’s Toulouse region throughout the year. “Women in BIM is truly uplifting because it explores not only BIM-related topics but also ways to empower women to pursue and succeed in BIM professions, even beyond architecture and engineering. With over 105 cultures represented in WIB, we are enriched by their diversity of perspectives and experiences,” said Claudia.

At the September 19th Paris event, participants can look forward to an evening of inspired conversation and networking with change agents and thought-leaders in engineering, architecture and beyond. In addition to a thought-provoking keynote by Sihem Amokrane, there will be a cocktail hour and a lively panel discussion about opportunities for French women in the BIM space. Panelists will include Guersendre Nagy of Buildingsmart France, Asma Ben Mensour of Seqens, Maud Guisol of Colas, Audrey Meynié of WSP BG, and Emilienne Poutot of Omnia.
