Support Question Leads to New Feature Request

We love it when customers ask us how to use our software to perform specific tasks. Many times, we quickly provide the answers. Sometimes, the questions lead to new feature requests. That was the case when Yoshida Kenichiro from Nihon Sekkei contacted us.

In addition to saying that Ideate BIMLink’s functionality is amazing, Yoshida asked if it could export a schedule header and parameter name at the same time, saying that it would be easy to see which parameter was being changed if both were written together. We agree! Currently, Ideate BIMLink can export either the name of the parameter name of the schedule header, but not both, because they are stored separately. However, we are exploring the possibility of adding this feature to future releases.

Here’s a video that we created as part of our response to the question, “Can Ideate BIMLink export both the schedule header and the parameter at the same time."

Thank you, Yoshida!
