Modeling the Future at Autodesk University, San Diego

Ideate Software and Graitec Group joined forces in San Diego, October 15 -17, 2024, as Diamond Sponsors at Autodesk University (AU). As seasoned AU hosts and presenters, the opportunity to connect with clients and other industry professionals, our entire team looks forward to the event each year. 2024 marked an important evolution, as we showcased Ideate Software’s recent acquisition by AEC software leader Graitec along with our new sister products StrucsoftAdvance Design and Data Connect.

Women in BIM Conference

Ideate Software’s booth was bustling with visitors experimenting on demo stations and taking in newly added Tech Talks that offered tips helpful to long-standing customers and new users alike. We also had the honor of hosting Autodesk CMO, Dara Treseder, who presented a live podcast on Bridging the Gap, highlighting the promising future of Design and Make, with a special focus on the upcoming LA28 Olympic and Paralympic games.

Beyond the booth, Ideate Software’s Richard Taylor and Glynnis Patterson delivered insightful presentations on diversity and collaboration within design technology. Richard’s contribution to the “Breaking Barrier” panel and Glynnis’s “Closing the GAP” discussion initiated critical dialogues about the future of the design industry. Likewise, Graitec CEO, Manuel Liedot, captivated audiences with his session,  Shaping Tomorrow, Today

The week wrapped up in style at the Ideate Software/Graitec yacht party. Clients were treated to drinks, bites and good friends during a trip around San Diego Bay.

Conferences aren’t the only way you can connect with Ideate Software.  In addition to our support desk, our Resource Library will immerse you in webinars, videos and articles to help you reduce errors while adding time-saving efficiencies to your Revit workflows.
