This class will take students through nine additional auditing processes to help keep Revit projects running smoothly. We recommend auditing your Revit project weekly with these methods.

In this class, we will explore several ways in which Ideate BIMLink can help with efficiently managing a Revit model, maintaining its quality and thereby saving valuable time. Some of the examples we will review include: extracting a full multi-category quantity take-off; managing Revit families; managing views and sheets; managing view templates; performing a full project spell check; renaming or renumbering objects with ease. If you’ve only used Ideate BIMLink for one particular kind of task then this is the class for you.

We are pleased to announce that Ideate Software Technical Evangelist, Richard Taylor, was recognized as one of the top 10 speakers at RTC North America. Read the story from RTC Events. AUDITING YOUR REVIT PROJECT:

Richard Taylor will be presenting "Auditing Your Revit Project With Ideate Explorer" during session 2.2 of RTC Europe 2015. Auditing and finding problematic data in a Revit project is a universal problem. In this class we will be using Ideate Explorer as a way to both uncover and fix potential problems within the Revit project. If you've ever wondered:

Richard Taylor, Revit, In-Place Families, audit revit model

Richard W. Taylor - Associate AIA - Technical Evangelist Ideate Software Richard Taylor has over 25 years of experience working for companies that develop architectural and engineering software solutions such as Intergraph, Bentley, and Autodesk. He has over 15 years of Revit experience, and was part of the original development of Revit while at Revit Technology Corporation. He worked 12 years at Autodesk where he presented, taught, and worked to improve features in Revit. Richard holds both a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and Masters of Architecture from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Richard is currently a Technical Evangelist for Ideate Software Solutions and continues to work with AEC clients worldwide, developing, and consulting on BIM solutions. In his spare time, he is active in his local community and is an elected member of the local Planning Board where he evaluates new developments, regional planning, and design criteria. @Rwtaylor_Revit
