Working with Style in the Emerald City

The Ideate Software team has returned from a busy yet fun time at BILT NA 2019 in Seattle! We enjoyed speaking with existing customers and new friends about challenges with current Revit workflows and processes.

Our own David Haynes was Chairperson for 2019 Data Day before the official BILT conference started on Thursday. I had an excellent turnout for my Revit Warnings class, and Sash Kazeminejad filled the room with people, excitement and enthusiasm for a presentation on Revit Parameters on a Saturday morning! Now, that is a herculean accomplishment!

Of course along the way, our Ideate Software booth was the hub of activity for existing clients and interested BIM professionals. We even enlisted a few family members to join the activity at the booth. How cool is that!

Seattle was a perfect venue, not only for the stunning weather, but because the construction boom is evident around every corner. New buildings are sprouting like weeds in the capital of the Pacific Northwest, and it was exciting to see our customers’ work first-hand. Our suite of Revit productivity applications is such a vital component to many AEC firms, and it’s humbling to see our hard work translate into stunning end-products that users can enjoy.

This was the first official unveiling of our Ideate StyleManager at a conference. The interest and enthusiasm for this new arrow in the Ideate Software quiver has been unmatched. I’ve been hosting a few webinars with the tagline, “Ideate Software has Style.” I think these crazy photos from the BIMSmith Gala on Saturday night say it all; not only does Ideate Software bring extreme value and style to Revit workflows, but I think we carry a certain “style” ourselves if I do say so!
