On the Road at Women in BIM Conference: July 4, 2024

A recap of Women in BIM's London Event

Conferences are always a much-anticipated event at Ideate Software, and we’re thrilled to have joined Graitec this July 4, 2024, in London, at Women in BIM (WIB). For the second year in a row, Ideate Software sponsored the drinks reception for this diverse network of female professionals in the AEC industries during its one-day conference.

Following on from the 2023 event, which highlighted Ideate Automation, Ideate Software’s Nick Johns and Steve Deadman reconnected with this group of highly engaged colleagues and customers over topics such as best practices for standardizing data, sustainability, leading with purpose, and much more.

Also present this year was Graitec’s Claudia Gaona. Claudia is a longstanding member of WIB and represents France’s Toulouse region at WIB year-round. “The conference is truly uplifting, exploring not only BIM-related topics but also ways to empower women to pursue and succeed in BIM professions, even beyond architecture and engineering. With over 105 cultures represented in WIB, we are enriched by their diversity of perspectives and experiences,” said Claudia. She and her French colleagues are so inspired by Women in BIM, that she and other members of WIB are in the process of planning France’s own WIB  event scheduled for this September in Paris.
