Ideate Software Team Discusses Revit Data Management at BIM Day GVA

Ideate Software was delighted to participate in the BIM Day GVA event in the beautiful city of Geneva on Thursday 2nd February.

About the Event

The event was focused on the future of construction, and attendees could attend conferences where experts presented their knowledge, methodologies, and recommendations on a range of hot topics in the construction sector. Attendees were also able to keep up to date on the latest industry innovations in artificial intelligence, digital twins, big data, and automation.

Conversing with Attendees in French

We were also delighted to have Julie Bismuth, the Operations Director for our partner in France, Altam (pictured on the right), at our booth. Julie’s knowledge, expertise, and ability to articulate to French-speaking individuals who came onto our stand was a major benefit for us.

Discussing Revit Data Management

Managing data in Revit and Ideate Automation were two of Ideate Software’s key themes at this event.

We were pleased to see many people representing Swiss and French architectural and engineering organisations take a real interest in Ideate Automation to see how they could reduce their costs of repetitive, time-intensive tasks that BIM/Revit teams regularly perform that can be relegated to automation in the Revit environment.

Attendees were also interested in understanding how they could make their desired outcomes become highly predictable and standardized, and how they could free their staff up to focus on more important work, erase end-user errors, and make their jobs more enjoyable.

Ideate Software at BIM World GVA

While in the country, we took the opportunity to meet and present the latest updates in Ideate Software tools to some customers in Geneva and Lausanne.

With many leads from the event to follow up on and presentations to arrange, it remains for me to say……thank you Geneva, we had a blast!
