Robert Palioca

President

Bob became president of Ideate, Inc. in 2005 to retool the architecture, engineering, construction, and owner (AECO) industries through design technology, education, and solutions. Today, he leads the U.S. and global teams that develop and sell worldwide software applications that solve persistent problems in AECO workflows and that supplement project teams with in-person and virtual building information modeling (BIM) experts. Before joining Ideate, Bob directed all northwest business for IMAGINiT Technologies, an Autodesk reseller and design technology solutions provider. Before that, he was an original founder of Ketiv Technologies, Inc., one of the first Autodesk value added resellers and a leading developer of third-party applications for AutoCAD software.

Glynnis Patterson, NCARB

Director of Software Development

Glynnis is a registered architect and has worked within the building information modeling (BIM) industry since 1998. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, she has worked as an architect, educator, and construction site manager. Glynnis is the Director of Software Development Services and continues to work with AECO clients worldwide, developing and consulting on solutions to BIM challenges. In her spare time, Glynnis likes to cook, garden, and throw parties. She also likes to support her local community in Morristown, NJ through Grow It GreenInterfaith Food Pantry, and CoHome.org.

Richard W. Taylor, Associate AIA

Technical Evangelist

Richard has more than 30 years of experience working for companies that develop architectural and engineering software solutions, such as Intergraph, Bentley, and Autodesk. He has over 20 years of Revit experience, and he was part of the original development of Revit while at Revit Technology Corporation. He worked for 12 years at Autodesk, where he presented, taught, and worked to improve features in Revit. Richard holds both a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. As Technical Evangelist, Richard works with AECO clients worldwide, developing and consulting on BIM solutions.

Jesika DiGregorio

Development Manager

Jesika received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon in Eugene, where she also spent time studying advanced math. Her experience includes working as a junior designer at an award-winning firm specializing in architecture and land planning, and as an intern architect at a firm that provides services in planning, design, construction documents, and construction administration for projects of all sizes. After working in architecture design for several years, Jesika decided to pursue her interest in programming and her love of efficient systems.

Hank DiVincenzo

Senior Software Engineer

Hank has been a software engineer for over 24 years. With a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, he has developed applications for a variety of companies, including Sequent Computers, IBM, Intel, and iMove. The application domains developed range from Computer System Control, Wireless Networks, and Immersive 360° Video, developing in both Linux and Windows environments. Most recently, before joining Ideate, Hank worked on Immersive 360° Video applications used for Situational Awareness within the National Security Agency and Department of Defense. Hank develops applications that allow Revit users to have unprecedented access to and control over their data.

Stephanie Fitzgerald

Software Developer

Stephanie has been a software developer with Ideate Software for more than six years, focusing on Ideate Automation and solutions that integrate with the web. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and math from the University of Oregon and a master's degree in educational technologies from Harvard Graduate School of Education. In past roles, Stephanie has been a project manager for a large-scale educational research project, a project manager for software development at a startup, and an instructional designer, and she has worked in software QA. She dipped her toes in C# development as an instructional designer and fell in love with writing software.

Jan Sako

Support and Q/C Manager

Jan holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications. He brings in extensive experience in customer issue resolution and general IT troubleshooting. His other passions are green technologies, specifically reuse and recycling, and various other environmental initiatives. Jan previously worked within the sustainability movement in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently, Jan represents Ideate’s UK office.

Customer Success Manager — UK/EMEA

With more than 20 years’ experience in the AEC industry, Steve has worked with architects, engineers, and building contractors to build a proven track record of BIM implementations. This includes award-winning architectural practices, including several on The Architect’s Journal’s Top 20 list. At his most recent employer prior to Ideate Software, Steve was the Head of BIM for nearly five years, and his many accomplishments included successfully leading the company in gaining an BS ISO 19650 accreditation. He also worked closely with the senior leadership team to develop strategic plans to implement and improve BIM workflows, knowledge, and training, while ensuring standards were maintained at all times.

Nivin Nabeel 

Customer Success Manager — Americas

Nivin has a background in architecture, visual arts, and computer science and has extensive experience in managing and manipulating BIM data, developing and implementing BIM standards and workflows, and applying BIM workflows to ancillary project components for improved efficiency. Before joining Ideate Software, Nivin worked at several architecture and design firms where she learned about Ideate Software products, used them, advocated for them, implemented them, and trained others on how to use them. She earned her Bachelor of Architectural Science degree from Toronto Metropolitan University.

Michael Coffey

Senior Developer

Michael has a Bachelor of Architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology and is a registered architect in New York, LEED accredited and a Revit Architecture Certified Associate. Before joining Ideate Software, he spent nine years at Gensler. In his latest position there, Michael coded and implemented tools using the Revit API, documented and trained in BIM and Revit tools, and managed content and standards.

Senior Developer

A Registered Architect in New York with experience as a BIM manager and digital design specialist, Matt is an ideal addition to the Ideate Software development team. While at work, Matt focuses on helping companies in the architecture, engineering, construction, and owner-operator space improve efficiency with technology. When not working, he enjoys traveling with his wife, woodworking, mass timber architecture, forestry, classical guitar, theater acting, and play reading.

Adam is pleased to return to the software development field where he uses his 25+ years of related experience to create innovative solutions that improve the lives of Revit users around the world. Most recently, Adam was a development manager leading teams for Fortune 100 companies. Before that, his roles included software developer, technical lead, consultant, and lead developer. When not working, Adam can usually be found having fun with his kids skateboarding, rock climbing, watching silly movies, and getting into a little mischief.
