New Schedule keys can be created in an Excel file generated from a Revit Key Schedule using Ideate BIMLink. This is similar to other methods for creating new elements, such as new Rooms. See Create New Rooms or Spaces in Revit with BIMLink.
In this example, a Room-based Key Schedule has one existing Key Value, shown as a valid Id number. As long as a single row exists in the Excel export from Revit, additional Key values can be created by adding new rows with the value ‘NEW’ in the Id column, as shown. You can then populate the new rows with data in Excel, save and close the file, and Import the updates into Revit using BIMLink again.
