A decision was taken by our licensing service provider to retire this technology, and as a consequence, perpetual standalone licenses of Ideate software 2016 or prior can no longer be activated or transferred between computers.
Existing installed software will continue to work as long as the host PC is kept in the current state. Major upgrades, such as OS or hardware upgrades could prevent the licens from working in the future.
