    • System Requirements for Running BIMLink for Revit

    Autodesk® Revit®

    Ideate BIMLink is designed to work in conjunction with its corresponding Revit version. For example, Ideate BIMLink 2016.2 will work with Revit® Architecture 2016, Revit® Structure 2016, and Revit® MEP 2016.

    Microsoft® Excel®

    Ideate BIMLink is self-contained and does not require Excel to be installed to read and write Excel files. Similarly, ODBC drivers for Excel are not required. For detailed information about Excel versions, see Excel File Formats.

    Hardware and Operating Systems

    Same as Autodesk® Revit® 2016.

    Check for Updates

    Occasionally Ideate Software will publish updates. You can determine whether your current version is up to date by going to the Help menu and selecting 'Check for Updates'. This will return the currently installed version and provide access to the Ideate Software download page for the newest versions.
