View Reference Extents

The Crop Region of the view referenced by the View Reference (marker), aka the Section or Elevation marker, must intersect the Target View in order for the View Reference (marker) to be visible. Choices are to turn off Crop Region (of the marker) or to open the view referenced by the marker, and to change the size of the crop region so that it intersects the level associated with the Target View.

View Reference Cropped

The Target View has a Crop Region that excludes the View Reference (marker). To restore the visibility of the marker you must either turn off the Crop Region of the Target View OR move the View Reference so that it falls within the Crop Region of the Target View.
