Revit software offers many different types of parameters, including Project, Project Shared, System, Global, Family, Family Shared, Reporting, and more. Deciphering the differences and determining which to use in different situations can be overwhelming. Instead of just creating parameters on the fly, it is best to map out a game plan for the parameters you need and how you intend to use them. Failing to do so could result in data mismatches and confusion to the end user.

In this two-part series, you will learn about Project, Project Shared, Family, and Family Shared parameters and their use cases. Watch the recording of the 30-minute Part 1 session for more about:

  • Parameter Types
  • Parameter Creation Methods
  • Parameter Pitfalls
  • When to use Shared Parameters vs. Project Parameter

Part 2 is scheduled for May 20. Register today!

If you are interested in us hosting a webinar on other parameters, please let us know. We are here to help you get the most out of your Revit and Ideate Software tools.
